How to Count Molecules on SlipChip Using a Cell Phone


This is how you count molecules on SlipChip. This chip did reactions with molecules from a virus. It should find about three hundred and eighty molecules. You take the chip and put it into a shoebox, cover it up, then you put the phone on top. Tap the screen.
Then you take a picture. The picture goes to a computer, the computer counts the molecules and sends you the answer and that’s it. Three hundred and sixty eight. Pretty close.
