With this simple timing glitch, it’s possible
to run far beyond your normal allotment of stamina. At certain points of your stamina bar, activating
your sprint will naturally result in the stamina passing the fatigue point.
I find this works fairly consistently around the one-sixteenth mark. Note that you can’t begin sprinting again
at any negative stamina value. Because this doesn’t work across the board,
I believe it’s due to a quirk of the animation system.
Alternatively, there could be some mathematical factors in the stamina calculations that make
it forget to stop. It takes a little over two minutes for the
stamina bar to go off the side of the screen.
