Jurgen Klopp ‘infected by arrogance’ as Liverpool boss is slammed for post-match interview

Jurgen Klopp has been slammed for his post-match interview after Liverpool’s win over Leicester  Klopp was furious with Leicester midfielder Hamza Choudhury for his challenge on Mohamed Salah during the Anfield clash  Salah hobbled off the pitch and watched on as the Reds continued their winning start to the season with a last-gasp win, thanks to James Milner’s penalty  During his post-match interview with Sky Sports, Klopp was asked if Salah was OK – but was immediately infuriated by the question  “Is he OK? How can Mo be OK? He limped off the pitch,” the Reds boss said.   Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has hit out at the Liverpool boss, branding the interview ‘very aggressive’  And he believes there has been a change in Klopp’s demeanour since lifting the Champions League last season  “Is he becoming infected by the disease of arrogance?” Jordan asked on talkSPORT  “I’ve noticed a slight change in Jurgen Klopp, in the language and robustness of his position  “I thought his post-match interview was very brusque and irritable – and I know that journalists can drive you mad with ridiculous questions – in his explanation of Salah and what happened to him  “I didn’t see him complain about what Trent Alexander-Arnold had done to molest a player by dragging his studs down the back of his Achilles  “He was very aggressive and on the front foot about what happened to Salah.”  Choudhury received a string of racially abusive messages following the defeat at Anfield  Leicester City released a statement in response to the abuse directed at the midfielder, in which they confirmed they have made contact with the police
