  2. I don't remove the seeds from the cucumbers anymore. I really don't see the need for that extra step. I also use fresh cut lemons and extra virgin olive oil. And for that extra touch, a dash of nutmeg or allspice. Primo Extra Good!
    The best part is that you can eat it like it is or serve it like a dressing on a bed of lettuce.

  5. Well, I live in Iran and here this salad is called "Shirazi" salad. Actually I didn't eat it in Shiraz but it's a bit different wherever I ate it. Cucumbers are (often) pilled, and the onions are white (I don't know why) and I've never seen it with cheese! A little bit of lime juice and salt are optional. also we add the mint as powder.
